This is where it all started. Where Meg realised the direction of her arts practice. 

Over 4 years after Meg graduated from her BA in Fine Art (Contemporary Practices) she was invited as Artist In Residence inside Crewe Swimming Pool. After spending time with local residents (and young people in particular) Meg realised what they loved most was swimming in the pool on Saturday mornings & shooting pool in the youth club on Saturday evenings. And so Pool In The Pool was conceived for the finale of the residency and as a way to celebrate 75 years of the historic pool. 

Later Meg toured Pool OUT of the Pool, working with communities connected to Bluecoat (Liverpool) and Bristol Diving School (Bristol).
